A Russian painter, graphic artist, and art educator, Nikolai Terpsikhorov was a member of the Union of Russian Artists and the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia. He was particularly known for his paintings of genre scenes, still lifes, and landscapes. Terpsikhorov taught at various art schools in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and his work was exhibited in many shows throughout the Soviet Union.
