Barry Flanagan was a British sculptor born on January 11, 1941, in Prestatyn, Wales. He was known for his playful and humorous sculptures, which often depicted hares and other animals. Flanagan studied at Saint Martin's School of Art in London and later became part of the "New British Sculpture" movement. His works were exhibited in numerous galleries and museums throughout the world, and he received numerous awards and honors for his contributions to art.
