Paul von Franken was a German painter and sculptor born on May 11, 1862, in Aachen, Germany. He was known for his impressionist and post-impressionist paintings, as well as his sculptures and decorative arts. Franken studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and later became a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe. His works were exhibited in numerous galleries and museums throughout Europe and the United States, and he received numerous awards and honors for his contributions to art. Franken died on July 24, 1917, in Karlsruhe, Germany, but his legacy lives on through his beautiful and innovative works.
