Alessio Issupoff was a Russian painter known for his use of bright colours and his depictions of the Mediterranean landscape. He studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg and later moved to Italy, where he spent most of his life. He became associated with the Italian Futurist movement and his work often featured bright, bold colours and sharp, angular lines.
